"There's something for every
music fan in our new season," says Artists Den Creator and Executive
Producer Mark Lieberman. "We kick off with a rare, intimate look
at Adele, the biggest star in music this year, and we made history by
filming Kid Rock inside Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis, the
world’s most famous rock and roll landmark. Generous invitations from
historic locations in Atlanta, Tuscon, and more helped inspire our best
season yet.”
“For a fourth season,
we are pleased to present Live from the Artists Den on
public television,” said Neal Shapiro, president and CEO of WNET.
“The series continues to offer a wide variety of music programming
and cutting-edge recording artists in unique venues that our viewers
expect. The series showcases our mission to present the best in the
Arts in creative, innovative ways.”
"Nothing in life
moves me as much as being on stage does,” said Adele, who recently
received 6 Grammy Nominations, at her Artists Den taping at Santa Monica
Bay’s Woman’s Club. “I love the closeness of playing in small
rooms, and this room was lovely and simple, just beautiful."
